Toukley Open 2007

A Category 1 Grand Prix weekend event

Venue:          Toukley RSL Club, Holmes Avenue, Toukley.

                    Club opens 9.30am.

Toukley is about 50 minutes north of Hornsby. The Toukley exit from the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway is a few kilometres north of the Wyong exit.

Estimated prizes:

·        Open First $300         Second $200           Third $150

·        Prizes of $150 for first and $100 for second in each of three ratings divisions (rating thresholds to be set on the day so that each division has a similar number of players).

·        $50 each for best Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and unrated players. These prizes not to be awarded in any division with less than three players.

·        Players eligible for one prize only (pooling system used).

·        Prize money dependent on number of entries. Estimates based on 50 players.

·        Organisers may vary any aspect of the tournament in the interests of fairness.

Entry fees:

          Adult  $45, Junior & Concession $30.

          All entry fees are to be paid in cash on the day (no cheques).

To reduce the administrative burden, no discount is offered for early registration. Please note that entry fees are lower than for most Grand Prix tournaments.
